A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a dynamic close-up of Cyclops as he's trying to get Jean to take control over the Dark Phoenix, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "The Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 3: The Dark Phoenix". Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x9.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
