A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring the many expressions of Prince Phillip's trusty steed Samson (with the early character name spelling of "Sampson"), the sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process as a reference tool to ensure character consistency. Measuring 11"x14" overall, with the image area measuring 10"x12", the model sheet is in good condition with minor edge wear and a vertical creases from studio use and storage.
